February 17 2020

Spiritual, Gratitude, physical, mastering the mundane, financial, learning, Forgiveness, and reflect

Spiritual:  is me reading scriptures on 1 Nephi Chapter 11. My attention span is not 100 percent but I am glad I am focusing in and out

Gratitude: I am happy I have a warm place to stay and I am in school right now.

Physical: I haven't worked out yet Mark Lauren week 1 but walk for 2 miles.

Mastering the mundane. Clean for 30 minutes. Going to start in the kitchen.

Learning how to win friends and influence people

Forgiveness: I am really upset with people having no respect for my boundaries. I have to forgive myself for allowing people too. My inner lioness knows I deserve better than petty shit. So yes me being angry is not necessarily a bad thing.  It's a righteous desire within my self to make sure I don't ever deal with petty behavior from anyone.

Scriptures:

I am reading 1 Nephi Chapter 11

I realize that my life is in God's hands and I haven't been counseling with him every day. I have been like the women in the building looking down at others partaking in the joy of life. I know that is the way to joy and having a clear mind and being apart of it. This life can be very confusing. There are so many paths that appear like so many opportunities. I just realized I have been spinning my wheels. Today is February 17. I am feeling more sustained already in the spirit of reading scriptures. The difference in my life in the past versus now is my discipline in sticking with reading the scriptures. I have allowed days to go by without relying on and clinging to the savior.

23 And he spake unto me, saying: Yea, and the most joyous to the soul

The rod of iron is the word of God.
18 And the large and spacious building, which thy father saw, is vain imaginations and the pride of the children of men. And a great and a terrible gulf divideth them; yea, even the word of the justice of the Eternal God, and the Messiah who is the Lamb of God, of whom the Holy Ghost beareth record, from the beginning of the world until this time, and from this time henceforth and forever.

The begging of a new chapter

I am able to start my journey of finding my own inner hero within.

Today is July 5 which is a good day for me to start. I started my eating healthy journey at 5.55 which represents change.

I am reading this book about how to find the Hero within and it's talking about archetypes that are roles that are in peoples life and that are there for specific times in life.

The moment that you find something is out of balance you can than change your archetype

Mine was having compassion for other people. I was putting it out in the energy field that people can energically put things on me. I am in a new chapter to where I want to be a wanderer and a hero of my own story.

I am just working on my self now and it feels pretty good.

so true

41 And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.

I got off social media and it's difficult right now.  I got off my facebook and I am careful about not drowning in a digital sea of youtube.

I am working on a book right now. The thing that is helping me is listening to audio books and listening to music. I have a lot more free time now.

I walk and listen to music to have my story write itself in my head.

I want to pray though that God can inspire everything. I want it to have a positive message in the ending.

Walking a newness in life

Centered in Christ

Don't be selective.

Avoid deception and remain firm in the faith of Christ.

Social motivated is not good.

Christ-like commitment to the will of God.
Comfort replaces the pain.
Peace replaces turmoil.

A man who grew up in the Church, served as a full-time missionary, and married a lovely woman was surprised when some of his siblings began speaking critically of the Church and the Prophet Joseph Smith. After a time they left the Church and tried to persuade him to follow. As often happens in such cases, they bombarded him with essays, podcasts, and videos produced by critics, most of whom were themselves disaffected former members of the Church. His siblings mocked his faith, telling him he was gullible and misled. He didn’t have answers for all their assertions, and his faith began to waver under the relentless opposition. He wondered if he should stop attending church. He talked with his wife. He talked with people he trusted. He prayed. As he meditated in this troubled state of mind, he recalled occasions when he had felt the Holy Spirit and had received a witness of truth by the Spirit. He concluded, “If I am honest with myself, I must admit that the Spirit has touched me more than once and the testimony of the Spirit is real.” He has a renewed sense of happiness and peace that is shared by his wife and childrenI am reminded of our mothers’ counsel: “Eat your vegetables; it will do you good.” Our mothers are right, and in the context of steadfastness in the faith, “eating your vegetables” is to pray constantly, to feast on the scriptures daily, to serve and worship in the Church, to worthily take the sacrament each week, to love your neighbor, and to take up your cross in obedience to God each day.24

My days are getting much better

Now that I got completely off facebook I can now enjoy just working on myself.  I feel inspired to withhold my voice and speak when God inspires me too.

I am reading a book called the Power of Habits and I feel it's reminding me of how important it is to decide on the habits I want to have.

1. Clean for one hour a day
2. Wake up at 5 in the morning and walk about 8 miles.
